Upon a steed the rebel rode,
With such a tiresome heavy load.
He knows he cannot turn back now,
For he gave his word, a solemn vow.
To defend her till the end of time,
Over many obstacles he must climb.
His spirit wavers in the dust,
But in him she has placed her trust.
