Lost In The You And Me
I never meant to spin so far out of control,
The acrid smoke of dead passion has taken its toll,
Bodies so tangled,
I thought that we were one,
I forgot where you ended,
And where I began.
You fully understand the power of your kiss,
Meant to drive your toy of choice into a heady bliss,
But then you’re gone.
I am put back on the shelf,
Now I can’t get your attention,
So I prey on myself.
It points back to me, everything about me is wrong,
I crack under the pressure, taunting voices get strong
