In A Moment Of Clarity
I sat there and took note every thought and feeling that had materialized in the clouds of smoke from the flame.
In front of my friends, I noticed. Envy in their moments of happiness. Happiness in their displeasure.
After the loss of a loved one, I gave. Despair to my self. Sadness to others.
In the moment of my biggest failure, I felt worthless and unknown.
I questioned. In the knowing wake of my own unhappiness, I heard a voice.
The self spoke, seeing the ‘I’ in its utmost purity and for its utmost ignorance to everything else and suddenly the ‘I’ recognized itself. Alone. ...
