Virginia Helena Guarddon Poems

At times I feel
as if I was part of your soul,
as if I lived within it
while you are asleep and awake.

Smile One Last Time

Maybe there is such a thing called love
and we will find it where you and I will meet again
and we will catch the lilies within
our splendid garden of change.

He Needs Her Ardor

He has the mind of an engine,
too much fuel fills his veins
as he turns on his motor
it all fires up in his brain.

Winter Solstice

The snow mizzled down
as diamonds over the ground,
winter came about with gelid wind
that glitter frosted everything in town.

My Voice

I was cursed by being born
with a mouth full of words.
I fear the silence
while surrounded by people.
