It's the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime
It is the little shadow, which runs across the grass
and loses itself in the sunset.

Become the sunshine in the rain
When people feel only pain
As you might be the only sunshine
they see
As you never know what's in there head
or where they may go

Soft pains
split my heart
Tears are all I know
Your voice echos through
the phone
Struggling to hold on
as I quiver to your tone
My heart bleeds
as I listen to your story
Always different each time
Filled with sadness of all the madness
entering your mind
I feel lost
My prayers seem unheard
Although I still believe
God has touched your life
with some kind of light
Though dim
He must be there within
your mind
My prayers are whispered
every night
That somehow your darkness
will become light
