Dead As A Dodo
My love life's a bit like a dodo,
It's exsistence does not seem apparent.
And although the creature is very unique,
I'd exchange it for that of a parrot,
I know that i'll never be no peacock,
With such exubrant style on show.
I'll never strut and prowl quite like he does,
So i'd settle at least for a crow.
And i'll never have a coat like he has,
With vibrance and colour and shine.
The glistening glamour that attacts the onlookers,
I realise it'll never be mine.
I just want a bit of excitement,
I'd grab anything that i can.
