Toothless

1.

thigh

petals of
perfume

petals of
violence

the
jagged
map

the familiar
space

2.

shallow

valley

cleaves

neap-tide

frothy

3.

red and pink
through repetition

you can just feel
my fingers smiling

adding, subtracting
ever after

and it takes twenty years
to reciprocate

the blossom of
mustard seed
