That Girl

That girls, she sits there;
Pretending, smiling;
Laughing with her friends;
They don't see the real her,

Her insides being wrenched apart;
Wrenched by the secrets she keeps buried;
All her lies, feeding the hurts, the pain;
No-one sees the real her,

She gets home;
Her parents, they suspect nothing;
They only see her as she portrays;
They don't know the real her,

She hides in her room;
Finds her secret treasure chest;
She pulls out her hidden friend;
The sharp razor blade,

This is her addiction;
