Once again things have shattered
The things to you I thought would matter
The spilling of the guts
And the spilling of the beans
The outbursts of laugher
Thrust at mundane dreams

A walk in the park
A cup of coffee by the stream
A window blown opened
By a warm breeze
Caught up in the chatter
Of a day full of schemes

A ticket to a movie
Wearing worn out jeans
A glimpse caught of a drama unfolding
While skipping through the isles
Of what it all means
