I look out the frosted window
At the snow falling on the ground.
I listen for noises below,
But to my delight there isn't a sound.
I put on my big puffy jacket
And tie my boots tight to my feet.
Trying not to make too much racket,
I slide down the banister and past my dog Pete.
I quietly sneak out the front door,
And into the dead of the night.
I dance around my front yard,
Mimicking a bird in flight.
I think of an idea,
Letting my inner-child show.
I make one snowball; then two; three; four,
And throw them up towards the moon's ...
