Different Doors
After all these years,
in both tears and fears,
as we cry, both our lenses shine
As youth, we explore
two different doors
with our hearts and minds intertwined
We come in and go,
all our lives we know,
we'll follow the brightest line
For years to bear,
in blood, we swear
in riches we shall dine
To keep our faith,
To celebrate,
our lives much less than nine
So let's awaken,
take the door less open
but watch out for the signs.
