I call my poetry my own personal therapy allows me to get any strong emotions out which might be weighing me down, i like to describe feelings in an in your face way so people can relate to them but distance enough to make up your own intrepratations so it's not obvious what it's really about. more »

The Weakness Of Power

These tantrums…
These comments…
These fists hitting against your side…
Don’t you see it’s a sign of my weakness, not my power?
For you see if I was strong I would ignore your words,
I would keep my mouth shut and not resort to violence,
But I let you twist my screws,
And remove a few bricks,
And allow myself to become a vulnerable mess,
A creature that does without thinking,
And misses her own points,
And then another weakness takes shape,
I end up collapsing in your arms,
Growing teary by my own distress and angry,
