Shanty Town

What a town!
Where ignorance, crime,
or misery wears a crown.

A cage... for the sage and the savige,
For the sickening armpits, and despicable pets!

A place where lice is the roommate!
A place where resides misfortune, and
The unpleasant fate.

An arena for spartan lives
Living on frugal things
Famine is the lute
For dacayed teeth
Feeding on whatever
When the belly rings and sings
A song of deprivation!

A puddle of lost dreams,
A pool of sloshed tears
Sedating the dust!
