My heart attends with gentle eyes:
In crystal-blue—myself in sight;
And souls by whiteness magnetised!

Fruity red, sensual, ripe,
In erotic passion to tempt for sin—

Your mind conceals and contradicts the truth
When your bonnie heart through your eyes does shine;
Trembling jocundly with expectation as a child,
But you, with stubbornness your heart decline.

Black clouds have gathered
Morphing monsters in the sky,
And only I can see them;
I, with my tormented Eye.

lethargically far floating

So...you knock at my heart's door
Now, when I rarely think of you;
Abandoned is my dream at shore:
Time and tide had wash it through.

If am I to throb
for your love no more:
What else,
constant in time remains?

I have felt Love

fermenting my nerves, and my blood,
raising my heart's pulse with velocity:

No artificially induced sedation,
No inhibitor of spiritual luminosity
Can ever eclipse the diamond of your soul!
For it shall forever brightly sparkle.
