First Day Of Spring (Haiku)
a dry leaf takes flight
in a vernal gust of wind—
hope blooms in my heart
Touching expression has been made on spring. Lovely haiku.
The leaf is first plucked by the wind and again with the help of the wind it takes flight. Lovely imagery.
In place of dry leaf I see the real soul departing from the body and the poem so beautiful in imagination.
