In Her Eyes
In her eyes, she sees no more;
though, they've witnessed many,
of fore tale and folklore she often told,
swaying me in arms that i used to hold.
...Oh, but they've withered now;
as, too, her memories,
of fights, of lives,
defeats and glories...
Frequent laments drown her in prayer,
her vitality never washed away.
Year after year mark their leaves; unavoidably,
on her shrinking beauty and fade out hair.
...Still, unmistakably, I sense passion there:
Un-lessened expectation towards life she adores,
in her eyes, that see no more...
