ଛାଇ
ମୁଁବାଟ ଚାଲୁଛି
ମଥାଉପରେ
ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟଜଳୁଛି
ଚତୁର୍ଦିଗ
ଉତ୍ତପ୍ତମରୁ ବାଲି
ଏଇ ଯେଲମ୍ବା ରାସ୍ତା
ଆଖିପାଉ ନାହିଁ
ଛାଇ ଟିକେ ପାଇଁ ମୁଁଡହଳବିକଳ l
ବରଗଛଛାଇ
ରହିଲାଣିଅନେକ ପଛରେ
କ୍ଲାନ୍ତି ରେ
ଅବଶ ଶରୀରମୋର l
ଏଇଯେମୁଁଲୋଟିଯାଉଛି
ଉତ୍ତପ୍ତଭୂମିପରେ
ଅବସନ୍ନ ପାଦ
ଆଉ ଆଗକୁ ନବଢେ l
ହଠାତମନେ ହେଲାମୋର
ବରଗଛଟିଘୁଞ୍ଚିଆସିଛି ମୋ ନିକଟକୁ
ଲମ୍ବାଈତାର ଶାଖା ପ୍ରଶାଖା
ଆବୋରିନେଉଛି ମୋତେl
ଚାରିପଟେବିଛୁଡିଗଲା
ଛାଇରଶୀତଳତା
ମୁଁ ଆଖି ମେଲି ଦେଖିଲି
ଆଉଶାନ୍ତିରେଶୋଇ ଗଲିl

This poem has special attraction that invites me for second visit. It is really a beautiful poem having touching expression. The inscription on shadow (ଛାଇ...ବରଗଛର) is fantastic and heart touching. ଗ୍ରୀଷ୍ମ ହେଉ ଅବା ଆୟ ସମୟରେ, ଯେତେବେଳେ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ଉପରେ ପ୍ରଖର କିରଣ ବୁଣେ, ସେତେବେଳେ ଆମେ ଛାଇ ପାଇଁ ଡହଳ ବିକଳ ହୋଇଥାଉ... ବରଗଛର ଛାଇ ତଳେ ଶୀତଳ ପବନ ପାଇ ଆମେ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ହୋଇଥାଉ... ଏହି କବିତାଟି ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଚମତ୍କାର ଭାବରେ ଉପସ୍ଥାପନା କରିଥିବାରୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଖୁସି... ଏହା ଏକ ଵିଶେଷ କବିତା ଅଟେ...୧୦..This a special poem excellently penned...10
Thank you so much for your valuable comment.Banyan tree is a favourite tree of me.Its massive, wide spreading branches, aerial roots, thick and glossy foliage evoke beautiful feeling of calmness.It is no wonder this tree along with Peepal tree is worshipped in our country representing God.
