इस ज़मीन पर रहता है अक्सर धुआँ धुआँ.
बिखर गयी है खुशबू हवाओं में
उड़ गए हैं पंछी अब फ़िज़ाओं में
बादल भी अब बरसने को है
प्यास ज़मीन की भुझने को है
हो रहा है जब समां इतना सुहाना
दिल क्यों न बन जाये दीवाना
झूमकर आज उसे बहकने दो
मचलने दो नाचने दो और गाने दो
क्या पता फिर कब आएगा ये समां
इस ज़मीन पर रहता है अक्सर धुआँ धुआँ
