0029 The Past Is Past - Then It Returns

Rating: 2.6

You asked me
to destroy
all your love-letters
as if that
would free you -

from what?

I wish
I had read them
once again
before I did;
that would be
some sort of
sweet revenge -

for what?

Clinging to memories, and/or destroying the physical ones...makes one try to figure out what the heck we are doing, doesn't it? Good thinking, for me, like a dog with a bone.

You been reading my mind again M? This piece hits home, in an accepting kind of a way. And is, therefore, good. :) t x

Nice one, Michael...succinct, barely sentimental, and loaded with wisdom. Raynette
