030710 Clambering Child Poem by Manonton Dalan

030710 Clambering Child

a vendor barely a child
holding leis of everlasting
clambering into a bus
i didn't even breathe
watching such fate
too dangerous
you could lose a leg
it's better than beg

i don't need a flower
yet i bought four for me
out of heartfelt tagging
i was like her long ago
trying to earn few cents
for christmas presents
does builds your patience
and social awareness
