030710 Where Are Those Who Cares

pretty girl brings my breakfast
two eggs, bacon and pan cake
when i started to eat i notice
one kid put her finger on her lips
and look at my plate with bright eyes
she can't resist, i know she's hungry
but too shy to ask, i can't swallow
my food watching her pain and longing

i called the pretty girl and order pancakes
for four of them and i let them sit besides me
they barely know how to use utensils
i could hear clinking noise from plates
they are mumbling words i can't understand
i have the feeling they're trying to say thanks
i smile but deep inside of me is all tears
and whisper 'where are those people who cares'
