031410 Behind The Door Of Comfort Poem by Manonton Dalan

031410 Behind The Door Of Comfort

my garage door isolated me from outside
i can still hear the rain pouring on vinyl wall
it could be washing the dirt i caused edging
i can still feel the outside air getting warm
remnants of happy moments seen to linger
with numerous footsteps that was left behind

i took a good look around for security reason
grill emptied and extinguish, side doors lock
folding chairs stock in one place, light is off
i step inside, felt softness of rugs beneath my feet
i smell the freshness of glades' scented bottle
as i drifted to the most hospitable piece sofa

i laid my head, close my eyes and dream
to be pulled by mysterious power of tiredness
so soothing to shift that weight to your back
and let go, surrender to the springs conspiring
to lift you to comfort, foam will gives you warm
i would say whatever i paid is really worth it
