031410 Rain Won'T Leave Me Alone

i'm edging my yard when shower came
i honestly thought i am through with rain
i can not cut the grass now it's slippery
if i'm back to the farm i could be planting
rice loves rain, corn, sweet potato as well
i have to hurry up, i don't want to clog drain

washing cars is out of questions i think
if this shower continue it might dislodge
dust on hood and panels, but not good
i'm tempted to give these kids a sponge
to wash my car while they play with rain
i haven't seen anybody did that, i know

i open my garage instead fire a grill
break out some hot dogs and buns
ketchup, relish radish, mustard,
onions, tomatoes and frozen burger
i have my folding chair stretch out
i could imagine i'm in guam, a rock
