033110g We Are Out Of This Universe

before the break of dawn
we are still working a shift
all soak with sweat, grease
nobody talking but whine of a fun
we stare at the clock for relief
other than that keep our grief

when we hear that horn wail
our hearts rejoice never fail
we count our hours a good eight
plus night differential, that's it
but time has taken too much toll
lost track of events even sunshine
