Everyday is a new born babe
Holding within its clenched fists
Secrets of a fledgling future
Fluted down spirals of time

I really love to read optimistic poems…like this one with a complete positive note….the future enclosed in the little fist…lovely imagery…refreshing thoughts and wonderfully composed. In Hindi we call this epigrammatic style as “ GAGAR MEIN SAGAR”

What a wonderful metaphor. You say little to say much. You are indeed a poet worthy of the name. Warmest regards, Sandra

This is brilliant Leonard - layers of meaning explored through a stunningly simple image. Pose of a child. A superb poem. Allie xxxxxxxxxxxx
