I’ve misplaced my little brother
We were playing in the sand
He said that I should cover him
A game he’d clearly planned
Until I went for ice creams
I left my brother to it
On my return there was no sign
Why ever did I do it?
The beach I turned to turmoil
It gave me such a scare
Until I found him fast asleep
In a stripy old deck chair

Rambling Riddles & Rhymes
I read this one to my ten year old daughter who just happens to have a little brother who loves playing in the sand. She had a great chuckle! I thoroughly enjoyed this! Hugs, Dee

I bet this really happened. I had a kid sister and it sounds like something I did with her. Only ours was a big hole in the back yard. Great work Dave. You can really bring on the laughs! Great rhyme and rhythm too! (10)
