(a) 7 (Love/Passion) A Sanctuary Poem by Renu Rakheja a.k.a Tranquil Ocean

(a) 7 (Love/Passion) A Sanctuary

Rating: 5.0

For weeks I looked and searched in vain
When you were the only cure to my pain..
Just one of your gaze was enough to quench
the thirst of my heart that was wrenched

Let me drink you, my love and soak you in
Till now I drowned in helplessness...
Today I can drown in the joy of finding you again
My eyes filled with tears of happiness

I seek nothing from you
Just love me like no one has ever....
Make my heart your sanctuary and nest
where your soul can always come and rest

I like this poem for its openness and innocence. Especially liked the line 'Make my heart your sanctuary and nest where your soul can always come and rest.' Lovely! Love, Fran xx
