A Change Of Mood
Sky of morning misty grey
Shrouds of clouds are in the way
Of sunshine's smile i love so much
To lift my waning spirit up.
Picture this, a bright blue sky
A tonic for my tearful eyes
The morning birds of cheerful song
My mood has changed
That emptiness gone.
The weather has a great impact
Upon my feelings, that's a fact
When skies are grey i long for you
To help me face this daytime through.

I like the way you use the the contrasting weather in the first two stanzas. And then sum it up with the great impact that weather has on your feelings.I really like this poem, Jayne!
