A Child's Snowy World

Oh what fun when it snows
It's a little boy's delight
To tromp around in snow knee deep
His world so crystal and white

Cute as a button he is
Searching for places to explore
A special sparkly season
That a kid cannot ignore

A chilly newfound place it is
His mind goes simply wild
He puts himself into outer space
This precious little child

Don't you wish we all
Could live in his creative world?
Squash life's daily problems
Like a snowball that was hurled

Let's see things as a little child
When the New Year soon appears
Look forward with excitement
And with a child's innocent cheer!

LIke this picture you've painted. Snow was always so magical in childhood wasn't it?
Before we grew up and it just seemed like added work, lol. (smile)

Lovely observation, the innocence of youth, its only later that we start to feel the cold. 10++

My, my, my, the way you went about it was so dear to hear. Even though I have never seen snow in my life but on tv, you depicted it so well here. You have artistry, I do say.

The magical world of the child. Something that once was, but can never quite be again.
    Very nostalgic. Lovely poem.
