A Day With Earth Poem by james watkin

A Day With Earth

Companionable on its own
Day, un-soothed otherwise
By that spring-like presence
Love-partner's essence

Do I, in Earth, of its air
Hanging, ever young, for
A tree-scent and music
Find kindred magic.
