A Diamond By Another Name Poem by Kewayne Wadley

A Diamond By Another Name

Rating: 2.0

Earthquakes stem from the tremors
Felt from the touch of your skin
Reason being
One of the greatest gifts God could give
Blessed are we to see the beauty that lyes behind the eye
Not just the way they stare, but the horizon of where we belong most
Let my arms warm your heart as I hold you near
Should the stars fall from the sky
Let me replace them with your eyes
Those glorious jewels that blind without knowing
That bellow of a better place
Heaven seen in a glimpse the second you looked up at me
It shows as my face can no longer hide
I love you without knowing why
I love you Without knowing depth
Deep slumbers
where my world began when your head laid upon my chest
Rivers that flow of expectations that speak from the carvess' of your eyes
How are we to know if the world is really round
How are we to know Gods love if we ignore this next second
