Deeply sinking to my mind,
A love somehow, I try to find,
I venture into your glistening eyes,
With a feeling that slowly unbinds.

I realize my heart it longs,
The music that would sing my songs,
Without a flaw the notes were played,
The melody that you have made.

A clear thought ambled through my head,
The voice, the words that you have said,
Unerased and stuck in place,
I close my eyes, I see your face.

Before I sleep, one last short look,
Inside my mind, a picture took,
Your smile with mirth that you have shown,
A feeling lost, a love unknown.

When I am down, you make me smile,
The sweetness shown, not once, no bile,
Concern I’ve felt, it came from you,
You humor me with what you do.

The warmth I felt with you near me,
The burn inside, the intensity,
The happiness you made me feel,
The hurts inside that you have healed.

I imagine you nearing afar,
Just like the moon, I was your star,
I’d never want to leave your side,
A feeling strong, a feeling tied.
