A Kingfisher's Pleasure Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

A Kingfisher's Pleasure

Rating: 5.0

This is my prized catch,
Bet, if you ever can match
E'en tiny a patch,

A kingfisher I'm,
Feel proud of my name's emblem,
Is there any claim?

An excellent haiku that beautifully depicted the wonderful attribute of a Kingfisher. Beautifully crafted write with superb imagery. Liked the picture that goes with this marvelous write. On to my Poem List.

Thank you dear poet, Rose Marie. As with other poetic constructions, I have used Haiku style as such. It remains to be seen if it can be called a Haiku in a traditional sense. Thanks indeed for choosing it to be in your 'Poem List'.
