A Long Time From Now Poem by David Harris

A Long Time From Now

Rating: 5.0

I make no excuses
for the love I have for my wife.
She is the nearest thing to heaven
that I have in my life.
I dread to think of the time
when she will no longer be there,
and wonder if I will be able to cope
with the longing and despair.
Hopefully it will be
a long, long time from now.

Never know when God will call us....just have to enjoy the now so we won't look back and say 'I wish I would have'
