Who will walk a mile with me
In this scary way?
A friend with such a frolic fancy play
A hope to the arcane ways
Who cares to fear and still stay
Who dares to risk and never baa
Who care to tread the scary way
While he walks a mile with me
Who will walk a mile with me
Along the path of the memory lanes?
An ally endowed with an empyrean tale
Who plays like a toddler beholding her mother's gaze
A starlet dancing across the lightless sky
Who dares to dream and never frail,
While he walks a mile with me
Who will walk a mile with me
A damsel with a heady lips?
I hope with that I loose not my grip
And forget to chase my dream.
A damsel with a heady taste?
I'm afraid that fulfils not my gaze
Nevertheless, I know, yea, I know
With such a friend and comely comrades
I'll fly across the restless wave
I'll enjoy the sunshine and the rain
Then at the end I'd beautiful say
Dear friends, farewell till we meet again.

A beautifully penned piece, about loyalty and faithful friendship. So much ingenuity and dexterity on display, you may also see my poem, 'Fidus Achates'.
