A Night Spent Holding You - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Kira how I wish I could spend this night
sitting back and holding you so very close.
Find a movie on Amazon or NetFlix to watch
while you curled up in my arms
getting cozy and we just sat and kissed before it starts.
I so hunger and long for you kisses
my only one that I often dream of us just
sitting back and sharing them.
I know they'll be so passionate and very nice
I wish we could share some before the film starts.
I wish I could just sit back with you tonight
and pull you in so very close telling you
that you're the best and I'm never leaving you.
I just want to hold you near and rub your back,
I long to feel your touch and give you mine.
I crave your love as I know you have so much to give
just like I do and I want to give it all to you.
I love you so much Kira and I always will
and I want to spend this night holding you.
I so want to spend this night holding you
while we watch a film we have chosen together.
I wouldn't pick something scary or that you didn't like
because I want to see you enjoy it and happily smile.
I love you Kira and want to hold you on this night
just sharing kisses at random points,
you are my Angel and you are my hero and nothing
in heaven or on this earth can equal you my darling.
I want to sit back and hold you on this night
because I miss you Kira and that makes my heart so badly hurt.
