A Normality Poem by David Harris

A Normality

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes we experience
monumental change
within our daily lives.
A change so dramatic
that it shakes us to our very core.
We stand and ponder,
wondering what we can do,
but at the back of our mind,
we know we have to make it through.
Not only for ourselves,
but for others who depend on us.
If we give up,
then everything is lost.
By nature we are fighters,
some stronger that others.
We struggle forward
in the face of adversity
and soon that monumental change
becomes just a normality.

Well....I love this both as a positive look...and a look at my own life....even though I don't always look at things so positive...some days I wake up and wonder what bad thing is going to be thrown at me next....since I feel that is my 'Norm'...but the way you have worded here....makes me feel a bit stronger that I have survived....lol....although I would like a little break from it all: O)
