A Path Poem by David Harris

A Path

Rating: 5.0

I ventured down a path
I had walked many years ago.
So much had changed since then.
It was hardly recognisable,
but it was it still the same path
that had been used by countless feet,
and it never lost any of its individuality.
It was still the same old path
I had used in my courting days.

Something about this poem reminds me of Paulo Coelho's The Pilgrimage [Road to Santiago]. And in a very nice way. Cheers Anita
