A Perfect World Poem by Jolanta Gradowicz

A Perfect World

I dreamed I had a great Power
To create this world on my own,
To make everything much simpler -
A chance to know what was unknown.

I tried to find priorities
And racked my brains for a start.
The matter required studies,
But I had only the short night...

My past dreams couldn't help me
And my futile prayers either.
What for others, and what for me?
There was nobody to answer...

I dreamed I had a great Power
To create a new perfect world.
I tried to use every hour -
There was no idea in my head…

I think we all wish for this power. I do. I wish the world would be perfect one day and then, I ask, what would there be to perfect later. I guess. Enjoyed the read.
