A worthy poem is a race vehicle
eminent grace glistening.
Like samurai 'n damascean sword
shining, tears the centuries
while lovers of excellence
stare it through the eons running
beautous and illoustrious,
beaming at this majestic parade,
enjoy it and enchanted applaud.
Wow Dimitrios! That's a real beaut! I like to think of poems as an outhouse. Raw, purposeful, and (sometimes) full of crap that we have taken in over time. Yours is cool too, though! You asked me in a comment why I always say God Bless America. Well sir, I'll flip the script... God Bless You! Well met brother!
Thank you very much, dear Timothy.By the way let me explain what your greek name Tιμόθεος means. It's a compound word, τιμή+θεός, , τιμή= honour, value, θεός=god. So Τιμόθεος is the one whom god honours.//Thank you for the wish but since I'm a student of ancient greeks I fo believe as they believed that gods, if any are bound to necessity's loop. That's why I'm an atheist as atheist was in reality the greek civilization.May nature bless you, my dear.
Ah, but some poems are like ox carts. Slow, methodical, purposeful and get you to the destination
For them another time. Not first for the race vehicles? Thank you, dear Kelly.
