A School Of Thought Invested In Thinkers Poem by Terence George Craddock

A School Of Thought Invested In Thinkers

Rating: 5.0

we admire the thinker thinking silent thoughts
we create statues of the thinker thinking silent thoughts
but do we ask ourselves what the thinker is thinking?

do we ask ourselves what we are teaching the thinkers
globally we invest cycles generations of time in thinkers
years decades of school thoughts invested in thinkers

but in all that time what subjects lessons do we teach?
to the standard subjects school leaving soon forgotten
we teach consumer society lessons possessions selfishness

in entertainment we teach greed bad morals of bad egg personalities
we teach how to lie how to cheat how to steal how to plot murder kill?
do you think school should teach honesty integrity love kindness?

to create a blessed world where peace love people live in harmony
we must gift thoughts a thinker's beautiful rainbow invisible wings
what thoughts should we teach gift for thought thinkers to fly with?

peace blessing humanity is achieved teaching compassion love
peace on earth is achieved teaching honesty integrity morality love
the thinker must be all of society deciding to embrace enhance beauty

the thinker must be all of society deciding to embrace love protect nature
not the coming of a scientific war but the coming of a higher state of mindresources spend on war would easily cure the results of wasteful industry

global warming clean the environment clean the planet
this is the cause nations should choose to uphold pursue
people are choosing media taught polarization hate politics

time to think people time to dance in love peace
or time to riot to rebel to march in hate anger wars
the choice is individual people I will love or hate?
