A School Of Thought Lacking Society Peace Goals Poem by Terence George Craddock

A School Of Thought Lacking Society Peace Goals

Rating: 5.0

when we raise up each generation of thinkers
what should we teach them what should they aspire to?
we invest cycles generations of time in thinkers

years decades of school thoughts invested in thinkers
but in all that time what subjects lessons do we teach?
we teach mathematics so students can measure count

we teach English native languages so students can speak
but what thoughts what ideas what desires do we plant in heads?
history geology biology humanities science art sex education

but on television in music in movies in advertisement
what principles what values what goals are being taught?
consumer society lessons in possessions greed selfishness

in entertainment we often teach bad morals of bad egg personalities
we teach how to lie how to cheat how to steal how to plot murder kill?
do you think school should teach honesty integrity love kindness?

thoughts are a thinker's beautiful rainbow invisible wings
what thoughts should we teach gift for thinkers to fly with?
peace blessing humanity is achieved teaching compassion love

peace on earth is achieved teaching honesty integrity morality love

Yes, it's the responsibility of the whole society, and quite often, the whole world, well at least in the free world.
