A Seedling's Vigil Poem by nimal dunuhinga

A Seedling's Vigil

Rating: 5.0

Am I ugly or lean?
My cruel gardener pour me
little water and fertilizer.
Because I don't smile with him.
But I know one day
when I grow up and bloom
definitely a handsome bee will arouse
and crave my aromatic love.

for anonymous flowers.

Flowers and words go together so beautifully and in this poem you offer the reader such optimism and love with your charming words. It is said that herbs should not be watered so that their aroma will be strong. I think perhaps the same is true of your little flower. Thank you. love, Allie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Very poignant and charming. I agree with Park Benjamin who said, 'Flowers are love's truest language.' Take care, Nimal. Kind regards, Sandra

This is so lovely my friend. I am begining to think that these vignettes of yours are metaphoric social commentary. If so they work brilliantly, if not, then I shall continue to read them that way as long as they present themselve so to my eyes.

A delightful piece; not only is it packed with sentimentality, but serves as an analogy of aspects in Life. Great job!
