# A Tete-A- Tete Poem by Samanyan Lakshminarayanan

# A Tete-A- Tete

Rating: 3.0

when i spoke to you
from my heart
you listened to me with a smile
your reply was from your mind
and that's when our conversation broke

when i speak from the heart
it is like the gush of the sea wave
we cannot draw the waves line
it comes..expresses and retreats
nothing is held back

when you speak from the mind
it is like a flying kite
though a true wind flights it up
it does not say all it has
a pair of hands holds it back

when a mind speaks to a mind
there is only a diplomatic noise
no word spoken is really meant
a conversations never begins even
when just a mind speaks to another

a tete a tete
a heart to heart..conversation alone
truth when facing truth alone
solves and resolves our gaps

YES SIR! MIND SPEAKING TO A MIND IS LIKE THE DIPLOMATIC CONVERSATION OUR 'NEIGHBOUR' EXECUTES WELL - FULL OF DECEITS! SOLUTION WILL COME WHEN HEART SPEAKS TO A HEART! Great thought! 10! -Raj

Hi Sam...delightful poem. Yes. Heart language is hard to come by these days. The head seems to let the ego take the lead. However, our poems may help enlighten as well as delight.10+++
