A Tree Fantasy Poem by * Sunprincess *

A Tree Fantasy

O' mighty one on high, why wasn't I born a tree?
I could just stand by the river and admire thee,
and smile when singing birds alight in my hair
by day and by night under the sun, moon and stars
just standing by the river silently, happy

I enjoyed the originality of topic choice and the tree thoughts... I honor sunprincesses so I must caution about becoming a tree by the river... trees in this location are a target for beavers to gnaw down or camper to cut down and burn. That is so not the fate fit for sunprincesses!
