Translated by Yiyan Han(c) ,2020-10-30

How could I make you see me
At time when I look in my prime, for this
I've prayed to Buddha for the five hundred years
For granting an earthly union of you and me

Buddha has since turned me into a tree
Growing on your only walking trail
Full of discreet blossom in the sunrise
Each of flower expresses the longing from my past lives

Would you strain your ears when coming close
The shivery leaves show my passionate wait for you
After you pass by blindly in the end, O! my friend
What's fallen on the ground behind you
Aren't the flower petals
But it's my shattered heart in pieces
