A Twilight Night Poem by Meredith B.

A Twilight Night

Rating: 5.0

Sky as dark as a deep black sea
The moon is a beautiful thing shining on me.
The stars compared to this brilliant light
Trying to shine with all of their might.

It is as if the moon is singing
And the stars beside are swinging
Dancing, twinkling, beautifully.
Look at all the stars WE can see.

The moon so bright and soft on my face
All fears and sadness, completely erased.
Trembling themselves in this beautiful place,
I have found a calm and peaceful space.

Every creature is frozen in time, it would seem
They know even a sound would break this serenity.
The world holds her breath as the sun breaks through
The end of this twilight night, another comes soon.
