Gene bearing threads(Chromosomes)
Commonly scattered
here and there in
the nucleus of cells
form twenty three pairs
from forty six singles
before formation of
sperms and ova in humans.
Then exchange of parts
takes place between the pairs,
separation occurs,
singles reappear,
pairing ends.
Similarly males and females
not known to one another,
from different back grounds
and scattered in geography
pair together for some span.
Build contacts,
exchange emotion,
procreate new generation,
provide parental care
till death comes to make
separation.
What happens in
microscopic and cellular level
is reflected in
organismic echelon later on
in our lives.
