A Wake
The future brings
From which you make
From the smallest moves
to the biggest days
One small event
triggers a landslide of change
your life's story
Are the decisions you make
Nothing good is easy
So take the right path
You build each day
with the love that you have
A story is building
To be told at your wake
How will you be remembered?
What will they say?
I love poems like that that really expresses the truth but also leaves you with new ideas and gives you some really good advice. You've written it in a very snappy witty way with a lovely flow from verse to verse. :)
A whole new look at a wake.....have never really considered my own and how the last chapter will be read by the living...another good write Christopher
