A Walk To Remember Poem by Laquory Jones

A Walk To Remember

I looked up at the sky as white
Doves began to fly oh what a sight
Fire ignites the monsoons with spectrum
Lights blazing through with stars aligned
The minutes starts ticking too as the
Clock begins to chime the
Northern lights up ahead
Why can't it be like this forever
Does the world ever gets better
Someone once told me there's not
A storm that we couldn't weather
But always give them

A walk to remember
Like that one day in December
Be smoother than the wind in
Mid-September Autumn leaves
In late November shiver me timbers
Keep igniting your embers
So they'll never forget you

As I slowly look out my window grabbing
My coat as fingertips grasp upon its
Leather skin so many ties began to sever
Thin heart beating on adrenaline
As I grip this pen my mind's feeling dense
Blood boils on intense perhaps that's life's
Intent so many lessons learned this year
I've learned what happens when you hit
That rock bottom knowing there's two
Months to autumn I know that everyone
Has problems I don't dare doubt ya
As screams becomes much louder but this
Year has treated me sour so much pain inside me
I have to let it out I know I oughta (ought to)
Can't help but wonder if it's all for naught (ya)

A walk to remember
Like that one day in December
Be smoother than the wind in
Mid-September Autumn leaves
In late November shiver me timbers
Keep igniting your embers
So they'll never forget you

While treading down life's weary road
I'll take you down that riveting ride
Before life takes that pivoting glide
Where thoughts plummeting dives
When hope's all you need I'll be somewhere
Planting the seeds why does it hurt when you
Bleed it just means you're still living and that
You will survive Cyndi lauper time after time

Give them a walk to remember
Like that one day in December
Be smoother than the wind in
Mid-September Autumn leaves
In late November shiver me timbers
Keep igniting your embers
So they'll never forget you
